Silestone appears in society in China with Fernando Alonso

Silestone verschijnt ten tonele in China met Fernando Alonso

 

  • Silestone heeft in Shangai (China) een exclusief evenement georganiseerd voor de Aziatische klanten, medewerkers en pers en voor de afgevaardigden van de Spaanse Openbare instellingen in China. De Spaanse Formule 1-piloot Fernando Alonso was ook van de partij.
  • De Spaanse autocoureur bereidde enkele typische Chinese gerechten voor de bezoekers. Hij waagde zich ook aan het Chinese schrift en besprak zijn culinaire voorkeuren.
  • Het evenement was ook de aanleiding voor de officiële presentatie van Silestone op de Aziatische markt, het Spaanse merk is nu wereldleider op het vlak van antibacteriële keukenbladen.  

Brussels, 23rd October 2008 - Last week Silestone® presented in Shangai (China) an exclusive event with clients and collaborators from the Asian and Pacific area, media, as well as representatives of Spanish Public Institutions in China. Fernando Alonso, two-time Formula 1 world champion also attended this event. It was the official presentation of the Spanish brand in China and in the rest of the Asian continent. It also was the celebration of its current position as leader of quartz surfaces market around the world.

The event was held in one of the most fashion bars, ‘Lounge 18'. The Sales Director of Cosentino Group, Mr. Eduardo Martínez-Cosentino also attended this event. The visitors could see the most human side of Fernando Alonso, as the Spanish driver cooked some typical Chinese dishes for them. He also wrote some Chinese words and he talked about his culinary taste.

Cosentino, the company owner of the Silestone® brand, is present in China since 2002 in collaboration with Silechannel, the exclusive distributor of the brand in this country.
